ACNM Fellow Nomination

ACNM is seeking outstanding candidates for to be nominated as fellows.

Please review the eligibility information (below), fill out the application (in the box to the right), and submit the form with the required documents to:

ACNM FELLOWSHIP ELIGIBILITY AND NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Must be a member of the College for a minimum of 3 consecutive years (any full, honorary, emeritus, corporate, or affiliate member of the College is eligible)
  2. Expected to continue as active member of the College
  3. Must be a board-certified nuclear medicine physician who is recognized as having provided significant and sustained service to the ACNM or extraordinary and sustained contributions to the field of nuclear medicine in general; and who has evidenced to their peers superior competence, integrity, and maturity in the application of their nuclear medicine knowledge and skill.
  4. Nominations are initiated by an ACNM Fellow in good standing. A nomination packet includes: 
    • the completed Fellowship nomination form signed by the nominator and nominee (the nominator may submit a letter in lieu of completing the form)
    • the nominee's CV
    • an additional nomination letter from an ACNM Fellow in good standing.
  5. At least one of the ACNM Fellows supporting the nominee must work in a different institution from the nominee.
  6. Nominations submitted to, reviewed by, and finalists are selected by the ACNM Fellowship Committee
  7. Final selections are voted on and elected by the ACNM Board of Directors

 

HONORARY FELLOWSHIP OF ACNM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Is not required to be a member of the College
  2. Expected to continue to be actively involved with the College
  3. Must be a board-certified nuclear medicine physician (or with international credentials as similarly recognized in the USA) with a current leadership role of an international sister organization
  4. Nominations may be initiated by the nominee or by another ACNM Fellow
  5. A nomination packet must be completed with a least one recommendation from another ACNM member included in the packet.
  6. Nominations submitted to, reviewed by, and finalists are selected by the ACNM Fellowship Committee
  7. Final selections are voted on and elected by the ACNM Board of Directors
  8. As with other honorary members, there is no right to vote, hold elective office, or serve on the Board of Directors, but may be appointed to committees
