Advocacy in Action
ACNM supports SNMMI in celebration of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Week this October! Nuclear Medicine Week is an opportunity to educate physicians, patients, and members of Congress about our unique role in health care. However, advocacy is an ongoing effort that should not be limited to a single week. Read more.

ACNM Teaching File
As you prepare for the ABNM board examination in October, review the board type questions prepared by Nuclear Medicine Residents Organization. We are also in the process of updating and expanding this question bank even further beyond October. View ACNM teaching files.
This past June we elected our new Nuclear Medicine Resident Organization (NMRO) board of directors! NMRO is a resident run organization sponsored by the ACNM with the goal of connecting nuclear medicine residents in the US and abroad. Some of our goals this year include increasing our international membership, and the further development of free education material for our resident members. Please join me in welcoming the 2014-2015 NMRO Board of Directors.
Grading Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
The Deauville criteria is a grading system for Hodgkin's lymphoma initially described with scores from 1-4 referring to initially involved sites while score 5 refers to an initially involved site and/or new lesions related to lymphoma.
The NCCN uses modified Deauville criteria where scores 1-5a refer to initially involved sites (score 5a refers to uptake markedly increased > liver at any initially involved site) while score 5b refers to any new sites of disease possibly related to lymphoma (see figure 3 for an example). Staying Connected with ACNM
In this day and age of email, eTOC’s, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, podcasts and everything in between, the ACNM wants to make sure you’ve got want you need in the format you like best. To make sure we’ve “got your number” so to speak, we’d like to get your input on a quick anonymous survey (only 7 questions). In the next issue, we’ll reveal the results and let you know how we plan to meet your needs. Please click here to take the survey. Thank you in advance for your participation!
Sponsor a Resident
You can sponsor a resident to attend the 2015 ACNM Annual Meeting banquet. Please email Anne Hiller for details.
